What is AZUI – Arizona
In 1972, the Department of Economic Security (DES) was established by consolidating several state agencies to provide an integrated approach to human services. The Department of Economic Security makes Arizona stronger by helping Arizona reach its potential through temporary assistance for those in need and care for vulnerable people.
On May 13, 2021, Governors Doug Ducey and Dess announced Arizona’s Back to Work program to help individuals transition from unemployment and return to the workforce.
It is increasingly being observed that several states across the country have witnessed a significant increase in unemployment insurance benefit fraud. If you suspect unemployment insurance fraud, or think you may be a victim of identity theft, file a report with DES.
